Professional Counseling for Adults
My approach
I create a welcoming environment for people that fosters hope and catharsis by expanding their self-understanding. My approach is to work with the mind, body, and spirit of each client. Your needs are unique and treatment planning is a collaboration between client and therapist.
Providing you with a safe space to heal
Safe spaces allow people to feel supported and respected for who they are. They allow people to express themselves without feeling judged.

Meet The Counselor
Dana Samardzich, LMHC, NCC, PCC
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Indiana and a National Certified Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors. I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana, graduating with highest distinction.
I am also a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation. I coached for nine years in private practice, mostly working with professional women around work/life balance issues. Most recently, I have worked for a large private counseling practice treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, addictions, grief, life transitions, and more.
I decided to become a counselor as a way to expand my ability to help clients navigate though more serious challenges, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and more. In my experience, I have seen clients use their strengths and resources to transform their lives. Having a therapist as one of those resources can make all the difference. It is my honor to work with many different clients on their journey to more meaningful and happy lives.
